Part of my second pathway brief – Art Foundation Diploma

Similarly to my previous pathway project within my art foundation course, I have been given the chance to write my own brief once again, based on the idea of 'artefacts'. This project will also be one led by textiles, with my current end goal being to make a decorative quilt, inspired by my paintings and collages! Ideas are blossoming, with shapes, colours and patterns being based on my immediate surroundings. Finding comfort in my home and my street relates to the sole purpose of a quilt; comfort and warmth. I am currently looking at the works of Thomas Nozkowski and Debra Smith.
