Final outcome - fine art

"My final work, in summary, is an abstracted colour catalogue of the area that I live in and have grown up in, an area that I feel ‘at home’ in, filled with colours that I find comfort in."
Composed of four hundred wooden blocks, hand-painted with acrylic, and individually stuck down to a wooden board, my final outcome for A-Level Art acts as an abstracted map of the area I live in. For scale, each block is 3cm wide, with the tallest of the bunch being 8cm tall, and the shortest, 2cm tall.
