Development work for my final outcome – A-Level Art

My A-Level Art project was filled with drawings, paintings and collages that directly responded to 'the built environment'. Colours, shapes and patterns came from my immediate environment, the area I've lived in all my life. An extract from my project: "The changing of seasons has always played a major role in how I view The Avenues, and every year I look forward to the flood of greenery billowing up and over the roads and paths, changing the atmosphere of my walk home completely after a stark, bare winter."
All of the imagery shown here led towards a final piece - an abstracted map of my area.
